Golden Fields

When the evening draws in and the sun dips low over the horizon the fields, filled with buttercups and dandelions, are turning shades of gold and amber, and it's beautiful to take in!

All of the buttercups light up like little candles and the whole field from my window looked as if it was sparkling!

Storm clouds rumbling away in the distance.

With the sun shining so brightly it was like standing in front of a radiator, the heat was so nice, and this was at about 8 in the evening!

These sultry evenings are my favourite thing about the summer months - long may that continue!

I'm linking up with Jen's Photo Friday today! You can find her amazing blog here, and please check out all of the other amazing links and add yours too as I follow some amazing blogs with stunning photos and they should be shared with the world!

Happy Friday all!

  1. Love all these longer nights, we were sitting outside last night until 10 and it was still pretty nice! Love your shots as always!

  2. Tasha! These are gorgeous photos! I love the beautiful light that you have captured here.

We are getting lots and lots sun here until late. I think it was 8:30 tonight when we finally lost the light. It's one of my favorite things about summer.

thank you for joining us for Photo Friday!

  3. Gorgeous images Tasha.. Early morning and evenings are the best in summer, over here in Perth early morning and evening are chilling down for us.. it's kinda nice too!

  4. A field of candles!!
Having a marvelous time, just being your giggly sweet self, I see.
    Good to see you. :)

  5. Yes! I have really been enjoying the longer nights. We've been going out running at about 8:30 and it's nice to stop and admire the sun and nature after we've finished for five minutes before heading home. Or before the storm clouds hit and drench us haha

  6. How beautiful, you most certainly took these photos at the right time of day - the lighting is wonderful! I hope your week has started well Tasha :)
