Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialise!

With it being October, Halloween is just around the corner and I've always enjoyed making cute little decorations for my room, especially while I was at university, to get me in the spooky spirit! I do love Halloween, and I love all of the cute and clever crafts that appear over this month, because I'm never short of something new to try and I found an adorable origami ghost tutorial yesterday afternoon, and knew I had to make one for my wall. It's ridiculously easy to make and they look so cute!

I love these! I'm going to add a few more to my walls over the next few days - I'll have my very own haunting menagerie!

These are so easy to make and I think they look so cute and cool! I love the fact that Halloween decorations can range from terrifying and gothic to cutesy and sweet, like these little ghosts and you can decorate these any way you like too. I'm definitely going to be making more of these, maybe adding some scarier faces and if you want, you can even tuck up the folded paper behind the head to give a more pointed appearance. If you want to make some of these yourself, I followed this tutorial from Broadcast Sunny who has a lot more of these on her Youtube channel.

It's Tuesday so that means, of course, that it is Two Uses Tuesday today, with both Stella and Sarah. If you want to find out more or get involved, just click on their names to add your crafty posts and share your creativity!

Hope you're all having a wonderful week so far!

  1. Oh, how sweet are these little ghosties. Definitely something that I'd like consider having a go at making as they'd look wonderful in our porch which I'm always planning to decorate and yet never seem to get around to.

  2. Ah, this little ghost is so adorable! I'm definitely more on the 'cute and quirky' side of Halloween decorations rather than 'dark and scary'. If you do make a little gang of ghosts, please share a photograph!

  3. I don't know what it is about these little cuties but they remind me of casper the friendly ghost, a bit of childhood flash back for me.
