White Walker Mountains

A couple of weeks ago, snow fell here in the Lake District and the mountains saw the most of it - with beautiful, wintry peaks reaching into the skies overhead they reminded me so much of the icy scenes more suited to White Walker's from Game of Thrones! With the accompaniment of delicate frost coating the fields and plants, it was magical.

Linking up with image-in-ing for this week's Wordless Wednesday. Make sure to check out her blog and add your own photos to the link-up if you want to.

  1. This is such a beautiful image; I love the many layers to the photo - relatively normal up close and yet a complete snow scene in the distance! Wow!

  2. Very pretty up there! But may it stay up there!

  3. It is pretty, and certainly more seasonal than the warm weather we've had here in North Carolina lately!
Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/12/little-painted-desert.html, and best wishes for a wonderful year in 2016!

  4. Alas we only saw a little snow and even then it didn't lie.

Lovely photograph as always. I look forward to seeing more throughout 2016.
